Rick Jusko, Director and Physical Therapist

Rick Jusko graduated from California State University, Northridge/UCLA Hospital and Clinics with academic honors. He has worked in hospital, neurorehabilitation and outpatient physical therapy environments. In 1992, Rick brought physical therapy to the residential community, an unusual business model, through his status as owner of Therapeutic Associates, Inc. Canyon Park Physical Therapy. Rick was owner of Canyon Park PT for 17 years.

Rick has been a national physical therapy speaker on the topic of shoulder rehabilitation and has a special interest in overhead throwing athletes, which includes volleyball hitters and lacrosse players. Rick has trained in NAIOMT through Level II, and has studied through level 700 NAIOMT course work. Rick is certified in Augmented Soft Tissue Mobilization (ASTYM), Kinesiotaping (KT), is a Nike Golf Performance Specialist (NG360) and is a Board Certified Orthopaedic Clinical Specialist. Rick has performed sport specific training for track athletes, football athletes and has worked closely with the Snohomish Pride Fastpitch Softball organization.

Rick played for U16 California State Championship in soccer as a youth, was a 3 sport high school athlete, collegiate basketball player and an extreme skier living in Alta, Utah which provides Rick an understanding of an athlete’s perspective. He has worked with Olympic Physical Therapy in Everett and is pleased to provide the Seattle Hill neighborhood of Snohomish, Everett and Mill Creek the highest quality physical therapy available. Rick is married to Sarah, also a physical therapist, and is father of two wonderful adult children. Rick enjoys edible gardening and is continually designing and implementing complex garden designs in his yard which competes with his affinity for recreational golf.

Sarah Stephenson Jusko, Physical Therapist

Sarah has 35 years of experience as a Physical Therapist.  She has a BA degree from the University of Minnesota and a BS in Physical Therapy from the College of St. Scholastica in Duluth, MN.  Her job experiences include UCLA Medical Center, General Hospital MC, Everett (Providence), Providence Home Care, Valley General MC, and Regency Care Center-Monroe.  Her specialties include acute care, trauma rehabilitation, wound care and cardiac rehabilitation.  For 32 years, she has supported many PT schools in the West and Midwest as a Clinical Instructor and as a Center Coordinator of Clinical Education.

Sarah and her husband Rick, also a physical therapist, moved to the Snohomish area around 30 years ago and have two wonderful adult children.  Her hobbies include traveling, hiking, and outdoor sports and activities.  She also enjoys and participates in multiple community volunteer activities.

Sandy Weyrauch, Physical Therapist

Sandy has been practicing physical therapy since 1989, after graduating with a BS in Physical Therapy from the University of Wisconsin.  She is experienced working with all types of orthopedic patients but has a special interest in Women’s Health and lower quadrant dysfunction.  She has taken a variety of continuing education over the years – finding Maitland, PRI (Postural Restoration Institute) and IPA courses to have the greatest influence on her eclectic approach to treatment.

Sandy enjoys gardening, hiking, snowshoeing and traveling with her husband, two adult children, and friends.

Shanna Butler, LMP, PTA

Shanna graduated from Lake Washington Institute of Technology’s Physical Therapist Assistant program in the spring of 2017.  While there, she was selected to the Dean’s List and President’s List.  Her passion for physical therapy and body work is driven by the desire to help others to lead lives without limitations, athletes to achieve their absolute best and teach others how to care for their bodies.  Shanna is a great addition to the Seattle Hill PT staff with the skill of creating new and fun exercises for patients so they may achieve their therapy goals.  Shanna is also a licensed Massage Practitioner with nine years of clinical experience.

In Shanna’s spare time, she enjoys numerous activities such as hiking, yoga, and kickboxing.  She also enjoys attending live shows and concerts, traveling and having leisure time with her husband, family and friends.

Community Service

Rick has a long history of volunteering in the community, including coaching local sports and educational programs for athletes. Currently, Seattle Hill Physical Therapy will be donating all proceeds from the sale of Thera-band to local schools in Snohomish County.
